Cordes & Company was appointed as receiver over the books and records of Hinto Energy, LLC (“Hinto” or the “Company”) by the District Court of Jefferson County, Colorado. Hinto is a Colorado-based oil and gas exploration and production company with operations in Ohio, Montana, and Utah. As books and records receiver, Cordes gathered and preserved all of the books and records of the Company pending the commencement of litigation by a group of the Company’s secured lenders.
