When a trial jury found misappropriation by one of the partners who owned two apartment buildings in Aurora (total of 42 units), the Arapahoe County District Court appointed Cordes & Company as receiver for the properties. The properties were in extremely poor condition and under notice for numerous critical housing code violations. Substantial improvements were made to both the physical premises and to operations. With Cordes’ assistance, the buildings were successfully sold to new owners.
