The El Paso County District Court appointed Cordes & Company receiver with respect to various land developments in Colorado Springs – across multiple entities with multiple different stakeholders. These litigation matters were highly contentious, very complex and primarily concerned with the actions and inactions of the general partner. Cordes assessed assets, established proper accounting practices, sold assets and dealt with creditor obligations. In addition, Cordes was actively and significantly involved in the negotiation and settlement of the matters between and among the various parties.
