The owner and lender of a weekly motel in Las Vegas were dissatisfied with operations of the 271-unit property under a management agreement. The owner went to court in order to request appointment of a receiver, who would then have authority to cancel this agreement and replace the management. Cordes & Company was appointed receiver for the property. We put in place new on-site managers and stabilized operations. In addition, we addressed significant health and safety issues.
