During the height of the oil boom, a land company acquired a number of real estate parcels located in the Bakken oil field of North Dakota. In addition to the real estate, the company acquired an interest in a company that holds two industrial buildings. To acquire these assets, the company borrowed money from an off-shore hard-money lender. When the company was unable to service the debt, the lender petitioned the court to have a receiver appointed. Cordes & Company is overseeing dissolution of these real estate assets and company shares. We will also close down the company.
