When a Nevada-based LLC partnership deteriorated and entered into litigation, the court appointed Cordes & Company as receiver until the litigation could be resolved. The assets under our management included a 25,000-square-foot office building and a problematic 900-unit storage warehouse. During our tenure, the office building was updated and finances for the storage warehouse were brought under control. As a result of the litigation, a settlement agreement was reached, the old LLC was dissolved and a new LLC was formed, minus the troublesome partner. We secured a vendor to manage the storage warehouse going forward.
