Susan Conrad has joined Cordes & Company as a director and project manager. She will run the firm’s Phoenix office, which opened in 2012 to serve the firm’s growing number of clients in that market.
Susan brings more than 20 years of experience in banking and underwriting commercial businesses and real estate ventures in the Arizona and Nevada markets. She has managed significant portfolios of special assets, managed bankruptcies, negotiated workout plans and restructured debt. She has testified in court.
Before joining Cordes, Susan held senior management positions with Franklin Bank and M&I Bank/BMO Harris Bank. She was a consultant to the FDIC.
Susan holds an MBA as well as an undergraduate degree in real estate, both from Arizona State University. She is pursuing an additional graduate degree in accounting from Grand Canyon University, and is on track to earn her Certified Public Accountant designation in 2014.
Susan is a member of the Risk Management Association. She has spoken at the Information Management Network (IMN) conference. She sits on the board of AthenaPowerlink of Arizona, focused on involvement with and mentoring of small, woman-owned businesses.
