Bob is a valued firm resource in the area of commercial real estate, with a special focus on the strategic management and disposition of commercial and industrial properties in receivership.
Experience
Previously, Bob was vice president and director of asset disposition for Pacific Western Bank, and prior to that Affinity Bank (Pacific Western Bank acquired Affinity), where he created a department to manage the bank’s troubled loan department, including establishment of policies and procedures for the asset management and disposal of commercial properties.
Bob has operated his own consulting firm providing facilities and real estate expertise to corporations in the areas of strategic planning, site selection, lease negotiations, and design and build-out of commercial space. He has analyzed and underwritten commercial real estate nationwide for banks, buyers and special servicers. He has worked in more than 48 U.S. states and several foreign countries negotiating real estate transactions.
Education
Bob holds an undergraduate degree in business, with an emphasis in real estate and finance, from the University of Denver. He has taken additional classes at the University of California, San Diego, in business ethics, negotiation and international finance.

Bob is a licensed real estate broker in California and Colorado.

He is currently associated with SCORE as a Mentor and Workshop presenter. He is a past director of Ships to Reefs International, where he has negotiated with numerous government agencies on the environmental cleaning and safe sinking of decommissioned ships to create artificial reefs – including the Yukon Reef off San Diego
