Within the context of a court-appointed receivership, Mike serves as interim asset manager of complex commercial and residential developments. He also offers a wide range of asset and operations management skills for companies interested in growth.
Mike’s capabilities include strategic planning, asset management, debt and equity financial structuring, project management, construction management, financial reporting, mergers and acquisitions, and asset marketing and sales.
Experience
Mike contributes more than 20 years of practical experience gained in-house at brand-name real estate companies like Hines, where he was first a development manager and then director of finance and new business for the resorts division, and Weyerhaeuser Realty Investors, where he was a senior real estate project analyst.
Mike was also a principal with Brookside Development, LCC, a real estate asset management company that provided services to Lehman Brothers and other investment groups.
For these entities, Mike managed commercial, residential and resort developments, handled real estate transactions, and secured acquisition and development financing. He was also vice president of VCDS, Inc., a private property management company, where he managed the portfolios of nine real estate companies.
Education
Mike holds an MBA in real estate finance from the University of Southern California and a BA in economics and Asian studies.
