St. Andrew’s Village is a 264-unit continuing care retirement community in Aurora, Colorado. When the CCRC had defaulted on its loan obligations, the Arapahoe County District Court appointed Cordes & Company as receiver for this property, which includes independent living, assisted living and skilled-nursing units. Cordes oversaw the change in facility management, the creation and implementation of revised annual and operating budgets and the improvement of bottom-line operating income. The firm assisted in the sale of the note to a new lender/investor and transition of control to the new owner. With Cordes’ assistance, St. Andrew’s Village continues to serve Aurora’s seniors.
