A popular performing arts and event venue located in downtown Los Angeles located in a historic church was built in 1875 and severely damaged in the 1994 earthquake. It remained empty until its restoration and conversion to new use in 2005. Due to a dispute between the owners and the lender, Cordes & Company was appointed by the court to oversee the venue and establish financial order. All booked events were able to proceed without a hitch. Within six months, an agreement was worked out between the parties and debt payments resumed.
