Bellann is a senior level executive with more than 30 years of operations management. Over more than 20 years at Cordes & Company, she has been involved in several hundred receiverships involving a wide range of operating businesses as well as commercial and residential properties. She was appointed to many of these personally.
Bellann is the firm’s manger overseeing our California office and oversees most activity in the western states.
Bellann is particularly adept at crisis management and working with problem debtors, and is an effective negotiator. She offers a special depth of experience working with environmentally impacted properties. She prides herself on assembling the best and most cost-effective team of Cordes & Company experts to work on each project.
Experience
In 2009, Bellann relocated from Colorado to California to open the firm’s very successful office in Newport Beach. She manages matters in northern and southern California, Arizona and Nevada. She also oversees the firm’s newest office in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Prior to joining Cordes & Company, Bellann worked for Automatic Gas Distributors, where she supervised gasoline operations for 98 convenience stores in 12 states. It was in this capacity that she met and impressed Ed Cordes in the early 1990s.
Professional Affiliation
Bellann is a member of the Turnaround Management Association, the California Receivers Forum, and the International Women’s Insolvency & Restructuring Confederation.
As an expert in receivership, Bellann is often asked to speak to professional groups. She has been included on panels for TMA groups in both California and Nevada. Most recently, Bellann participated on a receivership panel at the IMN Winter Forum on Real Estate Opportunity and Private Fund Investing.
