The firm’s skill set, developed and finely honed over 30 years, has long focused on distressed assets in troubled economies. Tom is adapting this skill set to work with companies in transition due to acquisition, merger or business divestitures and companies in need of restructuring or strategic alternatives.
For 22 years, Tom worked at US Bank in a variety of executive and management positions within the trust and investment management business groups. Before joining the firm, he worked with a variety of smaller companies in various stages of transition or distress. Tom holds an MBA in finance from the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, MN. Tom is a Certified Insolvency and Restructuring Advisor (CIRA).
Tom joined the firm in 2006, opening an office in Minnesota, where he resides.

Tom brings to his work over 30 years of business management experience. Education
Tom holds an MBA in finance from the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, Minnesota. He holds an undergraduate degree in finance from Metropolitan State University in Minneapolis.

Tom received a certification as a Certified Insolvency and Restructuring Advisor (CIRA) from the Association of Insolvency and Restructuring Advisors (AIRA) in 2014.

Community
Tom has been involved with many non-profit organizations. He has been chairman of the board of Twin Cities Habitat for Humanity, a trustee and treasurer of the Minnesota Zoo Foundation, and vice chair of the Twin Cities United Way Campaign Development.
